Rotherham, UK September 2026 – Pyronix has announced the launch of PyronixCloud Connect (PCC), a compact and affordable Wi-Fi-enabled module that brings modern smart features to older wired alarm systems, without the need for a full system upgrade.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with legacy Pyronix and third-party control panels, PCC connects older systems to PyronixCloud and the HomeControl2.0 app. This enables users to remotely arm or disarm their system, check status updates and receive alerts in real time, adding powerful new capabilities to traditional setups.

“PCC is about unlocking modern convenience for systems that are already in place,” said Laurence Kenny, Chief Executive Officer at Pyronix. “It gives installers an easy way to offer added value, while end users benefit from connected, app-based control with minimal disruption.”

With Wi-Fi connectivity and an external antenna to maintain signal strength, even inside metal casing, PCC removes the need for Ethernet cabling or hardwiring, offering flexible placement and a hassle-free installation process.

“Installers can have PCC up and running in as little as 15 minutes, thanks to pre-wired leads with clear colour coding and app-based setup via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE),” said Laurence. “The compact design fits neatly inside most existing control panels, and a printed QR code makes pairing fast and straightforward.”

PCC supports keyswitch-style arming and disarming and programmable inputs that can trigger specific alert types such as intruder, fire or panic. This flexibility makes it suitable for a wide variety of systems and user needs, delivering modern functionality in minutes.

As well as enhancing existing systems, PCC opens up new service opportunities like Guard Response, helping installers generate recurring revenue while future-proofing their customer base.

PyronixCloud Connect is now available in distribution.
