Every security system is designed to detect when something is wrong.
But when that alert comes through, what happens next isn’t always straightforward. Not everyone is in a position to respond. And not everyone is comfortable dealing with a potential incident - particularly where there may be risk involved.
That’s where Guard Response comes in.
From the HomeControl2.0 app, the property-owner can dispatch a trained, SIA-approved guard straight to their property without putting themselves at risk or asking someone else to step in. It provides a way for an intruder alarm activation at a property to be checked in person by a professional guard, without having to rely on neighbours, family or friends.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Each system subscription includes two guard call-outs per year, with the option to add more if needed.
(Additional call outs £55.00 + VAT).


For most customers, that’s peace of mind exactly when it matters, without paying for guarding they’ll never use.

A full history of attendances to site and guard reports can be viewed in the HomeControl2.0 app, detailing who generated the alarm response, what the guard did, as well as time stamps and images from that visit.
IF SOMETHING'S NOT RIGHT

If the guard finds signs of a break-in, they don’t just walk away.


They can remain on-site for up to an hour, contact nominated people or key-holders, and escalate to emergency services if needed.
IF THE CUSTOMER CAN'T RESPOND

Alerts can go to additional contacts, and on a confirmed alarm (two separate activations) if no one responds, a guard will automatically be dispatched.


This helps ensure that the property can still receive a timely response if the initial alert is missed.
